Apple has unveiled a new service program to tackle a camera issue affecting a select group of iPhone 14 Plus devices. A small percentage of these phones experience a malfunction where the rear camera fails to display a preview, hindering users’ ability to take photos or videos effectively. This issue affects devices manufactured between April 10, 2023, and April 28, 2024.

To check if your device is impacted, you can enter your iPhone’s serial number on the dedicated service program page. If your phone is affected, Apple or an Authorized Service Provider will repair it at no charge. This initiative underscores Apple’s commitment to customer satisfaction and product reliability.

If you’ve already incurred repair costs for this camera issue, Apple advises you to contact their support team to explore the possibility of a refund.

The coverage for this service program will extend for three years from the original purchase date of the eligible devices, providing ample time for customers to seek assistance. This is not Apple’s first service program; similar initiatives have previously been launched for issues such as malfunctioning receivers in iPhone 12 and 12 Pro models, as well as sound problems with AirPods Pro.

Through this new program, Apple aims to reassure customers that they can count on support for their devices and maintain a high standard of user experience.
