With Stories on Telegram, you have full control over who sees your content. You can choose to share your Stories with everyone, only your contacts, a select few, or a customized list of close friends. These Stories will be conveniently displayed at the top of your chat list in an expandable section. If you prefer, you can also hide Stories from specific contacts by moving them to the “Hidden” list in your Contacts section.
Furthermore, you have the ability to enhance your Stories by adding captions, links, and tagging other users. Additionally, you can capture photos and videos simultaneously using both front and rear cameras, creating a unique BeReal-like experience. When it comes to the lifespan of your Stories, you’re in control. They can automatically expire after six, 12, 24, or 48 hours, or you can choose to permanently display them on your profile page, similar to how Instagram showcases Story highlights. Durov previously stated that even skeptics within the Telegram team were won over by the positive results of internal testing, and that the company now considers Stories an integral part of their messaging service
