Rumors are circulating of a new iPhone 15 series being announced later this year. If these reports turn out to be true, the latest model would succeed the currently existing iPhone 14 lineup. It’s even said the 15 series will get hardware upgrades, including a periscope camera reserved for its highest-end Pro variant and USB Type-C charging ports.
An analyst at a well-known Wall Street firm suggests Apple could soon have millions of older model owners switching up to their newer technology filled iPhones all thanks to the supposedly upcoming iPhone 15 series.
Apple’s fourth quarter product launch season is ever nearing, and this time is expected to be bigger than most. According to highly respected Wedbush analyst Dan Ives, the new iPhone 15 series — including the iPhone 15, iPhone 15 Plus, iPhone 15 Pro, and iPhone 15 Pro Max — could give a much needed boost to Apple’s sales.
It appears that almost 250 million out of 700 million iPhones are yet to receive any upgrades in the past four years. It stands to reason that the arrival of these impressive inventive models may help reinvigorate users with savvy features like enhanced photo capabilities or improved hi-tech processing specs and start new buying cycles.
According to Ives, Apple is likely to increase pricing for the upcoming iPhone 15 lineup compared to their existing models. A report by Business Insider based on a research note from Ives indicates that the average selling price of the iPhone 15 series could be $925 ( approximately 76,300). It seems that Ives isn’t alone in this assessment; other analysts have also predicted that Apple may hike the prices of its iPhone 15 phones. As always, the company has not provided any official announcements surrounding the launch or pricing of the series yet.
Ives shared that Apple Services are expected to experience double-digit growth and hit the $100 billion (roughly Rs. 8,24,500 crore) mark. Furthermore, he commented on how the launch of the Apple Vision Pro may contribute significantly to this goal, especially considering its dedication to providing more refined Internet focus services like Apple TV+, App store, iCloud and Apple music. If achieved successfully, this could represent a major growth milestone for the company’s overall service initiatives.
This year, Apple is expected to upgrade its hardware to stay ahead of the curve. Rumor has it that the top model, the iPhone 15 Pro Max, may feature a revamped camera design and periscope lens combo. Meanwhile, the iPhone 15 and iPhone 15 Plus are speculated to have the same 48MP camera that made its debut on the iPhones 14 Pro series.
